Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

Other Machine Co. has a 30-day return policy. You may return any unopened and unused products within 30 days for a full refund. You may also exchange products. The Othermill is covered by a 90-day warranty. Questions? email us: returns@othermachine.co

The following policy applies to returns, refunds, and exchanges not covered by our Limited Warranty.

30 Days

Other Machine Co. has a 30-day return policy. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Make sure to retain the original packaging during this 30-day period, because it is required to complete a return.

Condition

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All items must be returned in their original packaging. If you are returning an Othermill, it must be shipped in accordance with the “Preparing your Othermill for Shipping” instructions below.

Authorization

To complete your return or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. To start the return process, please fill out our support form  or email returns@othermachine.co. We will respond to your request within 2 business days. No merchandise will be accepted for return or exchange unless pre-approved. Please include the following information in your email: your name, order number, Othermill Serial number if applicable, and whether you are requesting a refund or an exchange. If your return is pre-approved you will receive a notification email, which will include a return approval number that must be included with your return shipment. Once your refund/exchange has been approved, please follow the shipping instructions below. Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We will ship a replacement product within 2 days of receiving your defective or damaged item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If the items returned do not match those authorized, we will not accept the return, and it will be mailed back to you at your expense. If you have requested a refund and we have approved it, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10 business days.

Restocking Fee

Refunds for non-defective items may be subject to a 10% restocking fee if any of the packaging is damaged during shipping and needs to be replaced. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Preparing your Othermill for Shipment

Pack your Othermill in its complete original packaging, including the three rails covers. If you received the original packaging and/or rail covers in a damaged condition, please indicate this when you submit your return or exchange authorization request, so that alternate instructions may be provided. When inserting your rail covers, face the Othermill towards you and make sure that the bed is all the way front, the x-axis carriage is pushed all the way to the right side, and the spindle head is completely down. You may have to hand turn the lead screw of the spindle head to get it to move the spindle head all the way down. The covers will make sure that the bed, carriage, and spindle don’t move during shipping. Any movement could damage the Othermill and invalidate your return.

Shipping

Please mail products in their original packaging to: 3101 20th St., San Francisco, CA USA 94110, and include your return or exchange approval number in the box before shipping.

You are responsible for paying the return shipping for any item. We recommend using a traceable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
